I've been wanting to try out the Wastes. I already have a game this Thursday so I can't do it then, late on Friday would be great but I could make it Wednesday night too. I'm new around here so I don't know who is who and where they live so I'd need an address to go to.

OK, it looks as if we have a possible quorum for Fri, 11/5 at 8 - Fuschia, Fraktured, Elvorix, and Steve - I can DM (Steve, PM me for my address; I'm in the city).
Are other folks excited to go after the half-giants, or are there other votes. And, Fuschia, whether or not word has gotten around depends mostly on whether Ba'atar, et al, have been spreading word around (however, there may have been some fall out from your assault, if the new quests under Slaves Wanted are to be believed...)

Guys, I did fuck up. I dropped the Goliath Sentinels into that encounter, misreading the line in my notes for Mountain Trackers, and *then* added the Mountain Trackers on top of it. So, that was *not* a level 2 encounter at 650XP. That was a level 4-pushing-level-5 encounter at 950 XP.
OK, so the first fuck up, is that I fucked up my math somehow. Survivors on what I *thought* was the XP should have gotten 6.5EP, not 9.8. I'm not sure how I got 9.8, honestly - I think I just punched it in wrong in haste. Still, a lot.
I'm not sure what you guys feel is fair, so I'm willing to put it to a vote. Here are the solutions I think are reasonable. I am also willing to entertain alternatives, if you have them.
1. We can retcon and say that everyone survived (at 0hp), and gets 2.7EP.
2. We can say, Zubaidah and Ba'ataar rule. They get 9EP each!
3. We can say, Zubaidah, and Ba'ataar rule, but Dan, you suck. They get 9EP each, but you get only 2.7EP (as if everyone had lived).
4. Zubaidah and Ba'ataar rule. They get 9EP each. Everyone else can start a new character with 2.7EP. I get 2.7EP, for sucking.

I think that Gavin and Chris should still be allowed the 9ep each since they survived and conquered the high level encounter. So I vote on option 4, since it still rewards the survivors but doesn't punish those that died.

4 sounds fair to me. I wouldn't be too upset about the difficulty of the encounter. It was mostly due to bad rolls and a few foolhardy decisions.

OK, let it be 4, then. Ba'ataar and Zubaidah get 9EP each. Everyone else (including me) gets 2.7EP to do with as they will. We can split the diff on whether the challenge was unfair by letting the XP remain but the slain stay slain. Unless I hear objections, let's do that.
